T&P's Graphic Vinyl Sign Punching system provides maximum flexibility for the sign-making industry. For small converters we offer the low cost Model IV, for mid-size converters needing slightly higher production rates we have the Model I in 15" and 30" wide sizes, and for higher volumes, we suggest the larger freestanding Model II or III machines with single or dual punch units. These models are supplied with standard punch tooling unless specified. Marathon punch and die rings (long life tooling) are available on all of these units except the Model IV.
The Model I offers quick set-up time on short runs and includes the following:
- 15" diameter unwind capacity.
- Pneumatic nip roll maintains feed length.
- Ability to process 15" and 30" web widths:
- The Model IB is for 15" wide x 2 across
- The Model IC is for 30" wide x 1 across
- Automatic pre-set counter that accurately measures footage.
- Trim blades and scrap rewind system that strips and removes edges.
- Pneumatic tension control for unwind, matrix, and rewind shafts.
- 3/4 H.P. D.C. motor that provides through speeds up to 150 FPM.
These freestanding machines are designed primarily for high speed and high volume. The 15" wide Model II and the 30" wide Model III have the following features:
- 40" diameter roll capacity.
- Automatic tension control and pneumatic/hydraulic edge guide.
- Kiss-cut slitting or separate die cut station for cutting and stripping away edges.
- Scrap rewind system for removing stripped edges.
- Model II has cantilevered pneumatic unwind/rewind shafts providing quick and easy roll changes and allows for production of 15" wide web widths.
- Model III has simply supported shafts and offers dual punch units for processing either one 30" web or two 15" webs.
- 5 H.P. vari-drive D.C. motor that provides through speeds up to 500 FPM.
The Model IV rotary machine punches paper and vinyl material and is well suited for low volume applications. Features include:
- Production at speeds of up to 100 FPM.
- Punches 15" wide material. Various hole patterns available.
- 12" diameter unwind on 3" diameter cores. Approx. 750 feet per roll.
- Unwind and rewind air shafts.
- Pneumatic clutches on both unwind and rewind shafts.
- Edge guide and tension control.
- Edge rewind facility with slitter knives.
- Micrometer scale for edge stripping.
- Preset footage counter.
