Flexo Image Graphics – The Indian arm of Mark Andy has sold over ten Performance series presses to customers in India and neighbouring countries since its launch. The newest addition to its successful range of MA presses, the Performance Series product line incorporating the uniquely engineered print-head design meets the critical needs of today’s converters. Providing fast changeovers, simple operation and superior print quality, these very characteristics have quickly elevated the Performance Series to a leading position in the Indian flexo press market since its introduction.

Performance Series – The Award-Winning design for Technical Innovation

Astron Packaging and Barcom Industries, were the initial Performance Series Press customers. Astron Packaging had seen the press P5 at Labelexpo Brussels and had finalized it there itself. After that there was no turning back and FIG went on to add more Performance Series at other converting units.

“The Indian label industry continues to be a strong and emerging market in the Asia Pacific region. Converters in the region are showing more interest in newer technology and are extremely business savvy with regard to efficiency and productivity. More and more converters are opting for advanced applications and the benefits of the Performance Series – including fast changeovers, reduced make-readies and minimal waste – are appealing to these profit-conscious business owners,” says Mr. Gourav Roy, MD, FIG.

“The success we have seen since the introduction of the Performance Series has been astounding,” adds Ms. Sheetal Mishra – VP Marketing. “The acceptance in the marketplace and with quite a few converters adding a second press reinforces that the performance series has been really addressing the converters’ needs. We look forward to continued success with the P5.”

Sales for the Performance Series presses have been substantial since its introduction, with more than 10 machines sold to date. Orders for the new presses are already in-house, with many installations scheduled to be happening soon in near future. While the multiple servo P7 press is aimed at providing higher-end solution for complex applications, the P5 is a machine for the everyday converter looking to achieve servo-driven productivity and high quality levels, at an extremely appealing value.
