Mark Andy, a global leader in narrow-web press manufacturing, debuts the latest models in the Performance Series line of flexo printing machines – the P5 and P3 – at Labelexpo Europe 2011 (www.labelexpo-europe.com). These models will be on display along with the premier machine of the series, the P7, which made its debut at Labelexpo Europe 2009.

Over 100 Performance Series machines have been sold worldwide including the P3, a conventional label press driven by a precision-engineered direct drive train; the P5, a servo-driven, productivity-focused machine and the highest selling of the series; and the P7, the most advanced model with dual servo controls and fully-automated registration system.

The Performance Series has taken the world by storm, winning the 2011 FTA Flexographic Technical Innovation Award for its innovative print head design. This annual honor is bestowed upon companies “who seek ways to further refine and advance the flexographic print process and who bring significant contributions to the industry in terms of adoption, change and competitive posture.”

Live demonstrations will be held daily on the P5 and P7 machines, providing valuable information to attendees of the dramatic waste savings, quick set-ups and changeovers and ease of use with the Performance Series press line. Additional presentations will arm converters with the questions and facts that need to be asked and analyzed when considering a digital solution for their flexo printing facility. With the significant advancements in technology, short runs are becoming more and more achievable with flexo solutions.
